When Money Buys LittleThe post WW I German InflationThis exhibit started out a few years ago as just a “spare time project to fill a few frames, locally”. I printed it on the backs of other old exhibition pages and quickly filled 10 frames. Net result of all this was “Vermeil”, “Vermeil”, “Vermeil” at the regional shows around this area. I finally entered it in a National (WSP) show at Omaha in 1998 – yes, you are right, another Vermeil!
With the Germany Philatelic Society’s convention here in Minneapolis in 2000, I decided it was time to get serious. First, the exhibit was reduced to 8 frames. The first four were combined to yield only two frames. Next, some of the messier pages were redone and just a few (about 5) new items were added. How did it do in a tough, National exhibition?
